• learn the benefits of collaborating to reduce recidivism and reduce substance abuse.

• criminal justice participants will gain knowledge about the public health impact of substance abuse.

• public health participants will gain knowledge about the impact of substance abuse on public safety.

• be provided with new tools to improve collaboration.
